Connect Protegee to your AI app

Plan, write, make and schedule your brand's social videos from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Cursor. Everything the app does shows up in your Protegee studio.

The two connections

• Full studio: https://app.protegee.studio/mcp. Ideas, scripts, storyboards, your library, renders, edits and analytics.
• Scheduler: https://app.protegee.studio/mcp/schedule. Lists content you have approved and schedules it to your connected networks. This is the version in Claude's connector directory.

Both need a Protegee account. You sign in to Protegee and approve the connection once; the app never sees your password.

Claude

Find Protegee in Claude's connector directory for scheduling. For the full studio: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste https://app.protegee.studio/mcp, then Connect. In Claude Code run claude mcp add --transport http protegee https://app.protegee.studio/mcp.

ChatGPT

Find Protegee in ChatGPT's app directory, or add it as a custom app (developer mode) with https://app.protegee.studio/mcp and OAuth.

Gemini, Grok, Cursor and other MCP apps

Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect. Add a custom connector in the app's settings with https://app.protegee.studio/mcp, then sign in to Protegee when it asks.

What the app can and cannot do

• Read your board, storyboards, library, schedule and analytics.
• Write and edit ideas, scripts, prompts and captions, and start renders on your plan (full studio).
• Schedule, move or cancel posts of content you already approved (scheduler).
• It never approves content for you and never deletes your ideas or library.

Things to ask

• Pitch five reel ideas for my brand this week and add the best two to my board.
• Write a storyboard for my newest idea and show me the shots.
• What is ready to post? Schedule it for Thursday at 9am on TikTok and Instagram.

Disconnect and privacy

Disconnect any app in Protegee under Settings, Connect an AI app; its access ends immediately. What we receive and keep is in our Privacy Policy.
